As part of our birthday year commitment to bring art experiences out of the museum and into the community, we have created four high-quality reproductions of some of our iconic paintings, to be installed at surprising outdoor locations during Minnesota Museum Month, which runs May 1-31. In a unique twist, a museum docent will be stationed at each painting from 1:30-3:30 p.m. every Saturday during that time frame, weather permitting, to share insights and stories about the paintings and answer questions people may have about the works.
