2-D Art

Let’s build our creative confidence by experimenting with new materials to explore the elements of art: color, line, shape, and form. We’ll make glass and ceramic mosaics, create portraits in powdered graphite, and play with paint. We’ll even batik fabric! After exercising our imaginations while creating art inspired by museum treasures, we’ll visit the special exhibition “Delacroix’s Influence: The Rise of Modern Art from Cézanne to van Gogh” for more inspiration.
