5 Senses in Art

Let’s explore art through our senses. Taking cues from pointillism—paintings made entirely from dots of color—and Impressionist works, we’ll use edible candies such as dots and sprinkles to play with shading and texture, and we’ll make sugar-water inks to paint glossy scented pictures. Then we’ll create works inspired by “Ferran Adrià: Notes on Creativity,” an exhibition about how this Spanish master chef—“the Salvador Dalì of the kitchen”—imagines his world.
