Art-making Landscape Painting

Paint a landscape inspired by artworks from around the world, or get outside and paint en plein air (a French term for painting “in the open air”).

Art-making Land Art

Get outside and make a works of art inspired by famous land artists like Robert Smithson and Maya Lin.

Preschool Tour Butterflies
11:30 a.m., 12:30, 2 & 3 p.m.
Go on an adventure exploring butterflies and gardens in art, with a tour designed especially for little ones.

Film Rivers and Tides
11 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Take in an incredible documentary about artist Andy Goldsworthy, whose art-making materials include leaves, ice, mud, and other things from nature.

Artist Project Education Pollination Station
Noon–3 p.m.
Take part in an innovative artist project designed by Amanda Lovelee and Anna Bierbrauer.

Music and Storytelling Steve Sklar & Johnna Morrow
Noon, 1:30 & 3 p.m.
Travel the world through music, and listen to musical instruments made from natural materials.
