Claire Farago, PhD, is a professor of Renaissance art, theory, and criticism at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Published widely on art theory and historiography, she is a specialist on the manuscripts of Leonardo da Vinci. She is currently completing a modern critical edition of Leonardo da Vinci’s Treatise on Painting, originally published in 1651.
