Hands-on Art History: Mixed Media

<p>Part of an ongoing series, this workshop will explore mixed-media work, assemblage, and collage from early 20th century to present day. After taking a look at innovative examples in the galleries and the special exhibition “<a title="State of the Art: Discovering American Art Now" href="http://new.artsmia.org/state-of-the-art/">State of the Art</a>,” you’ll head to the studios and experiment with materials and techniques to make your own mixed-media masterpiece. No previous art experience necessary.</p>
