Mequitta Ahuja ǀ The Artist Is In

Mequitta Ahuja’s mesmerizing drawing of cascading dreadlocks is on view in the exhibition, Marks of Genius. Ahuja uses the word Automythography to describe her work. Her self-portraits combine the real with the imagined.

As part of The Artist Is In series, Mequitta will introduce visitors to the methods she uses across various media, discussing works in progress and describing her process in depth.

Mequitta Ahuja is a visual artist and most recently a 2014 Project Fellow at the Siena Art Institute in Siena, Italy. Her work has been exhibited across the U.S and internationally. http://www.automythography.com/
