Jan Estep | The Power of Gratitude

Gratitude is an antidote to feelings of not having enough, a systematic recognition of the things we can be grateful for, such as the shared world we live in, our feelings, our minds, and the ability to communicate. Jan Estep, artist and professor of art at the University of Minnesota, and co-curator of a “Sacred” installation at the MIA, will lead a guided meditation and discussion on mindfulness and gratitude.

Sacred Salons are participatory experiences exploring a wide range of ideas and practices related to the nature of the sacred within a secular, multi-faith society. Gather in level 1 of the Atrium of Target Wing. Free.
