Sketching in the Galleries: Themes and Purposes of Art – Recording Life Experiences

Instructor: Ken Wenzel

The artist starts from their own unique life experience in their journey to communicate and express themselves to viewers. The work becomes a record of those experiences, sometimes very directly and with just that intent. We will look at such work and discuss some specific examples of unique expressions of common experiences. Drawing will be from the permanent collection.

Fees per session: $30; $22 for MIA members. To register, call (612) 870-3000 or register online »
