Youth Class: Sketchbooks as Sculpture (Ages 11-13)

How did Leonardo become Leonardo? We’ll find out by looking at the work in the exhibition “Leonardo da Vinci’s Leicester Codex and the Power of Observation.” In the studio, we’ll work out our own original ideas. Consider your sketchbook more than just a place to plan out your masterpieces, but instead a work of art itself. Plus, we’ll use traditional and untraditional materials to enhance our book experience, and look at the works of contemporary bookmakers for ideas.
