General admission to the MIA galleries is FREE—all day, every day, for everyone—no ticket required.
Special exhibitions and select museum events, films, tours, and classes. Program descriptions with the “$” or “R” symbol indicate tickets/reservations are necessary. (Note: Programs that are free for MIA members still require tickets/reservations if indicated.)
You may purchase tickets online, by phone, or at the museum.
You may order tickets and make reservations online anytime, day or night, through the ticketing service. First-time users will be asked to create a login before ordering. To receive member discounts, be sure to login to your existing member account rather than creating a duplicate, non-member account. To purchase tickets or make reservations by phone, call the museum’s general hotline, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (Thursday 9 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.), Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at (612) 870-3000.
