Private event rental fees at Mia include on-site, day-of event coordination, event security staffing, janitorial staffing, coat check staffing, basic setup and teardown of event, and use of museum-owned tables and chairs.
Private event rental fees do not include food or beverage, décor, linen rental, additional equipment rental, outdoor tents, docent tours, group tickets for special exhibitions, opening of The Store at Mia, media equipment and technician, valet service, parking, or additional security charges. Please ask your event coordinator for details on these services and other ways to enhance your event.
The museum reserves the right to review special-event plans to ensure that they are compatible with Mia’s mission. Please note that the museum is unable to host political activities, fundraising events, proms, memorials, or any commercial functions. To safeguard the art, red wine, candles, banners, balloons, and glitter/confetti are prohibited in the galleries. Cooking and the use of steam tables in the galleries are also not allowed.
