After 27 years with the FBI, Deb Pierce retired as deputy assistant director of its Criminal Investigative Division in 2006. Her responsibilities included overseeing the FBI Art Theft Team. Prior to her position in Washington D.C., she was the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Minneapolis office. Since her retirement, she has traveled to countries including Tajikistan and Peru to promote leadership for women in public service. She is a founder of the Pierce-Weber Partnership and is the international vice president/secretary of the Consortium for Women Leaders in Public Service.
