What is the MAEP Annual Meeting?

The MAEP Annual Meeting 2018 will be held Saturday, November 10, at 2 p.m. at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. The gathering invites artists living and working in the state of Minnesota to connect with others from across the state, learn more about the program, and elect new members to the MAEP Artist Panel. MAEP is seeking 5 Panelists for 2019.

  • Three (3) positions are held for artists from the Twin Cities’ seven-county metro region to serve two-year terms.
  • One (1) position is held for an artist coming from Greater Minnesota to serve a two-year term.
  • Special Election: 1 position for an artist from Minnesota to serve a one-year term.

Nominations are accepted in advance or from the floor at the meeting. Nominations made in advance of the meeting must be submitted by Sunday, November 4, at 11:59 p.m. Nominees will be posted to this page and shared via social media the week of the MAEP Annual Meeting. Nominations received after the deadline will be considered “nominations from the floor.” All nominees must be present at the Annual Meeting.
