Sketching in the Galleries: Exploring Color Temperature

One of the most important steps in studying color is developing the ability to see color temperature in nature, art, and design. Understanding and applying cool and warm colors effectively creates implied volume. We will discuss color temperature and ways of helping one see it and use it in the drawing process. Students will draw in oil pastel or color pencil from works in the permanent collection.

Tickets go on sale October 8. To register, call 612.870.6323 or reserve online.
