An Introduction to Visual Thinking Strategies
Gain first-hand experience with Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), a teacher-facilitated and learner-centered method for discussing art images. VTS strengthens student language and listening skills, develops habits of critical thinking, and promotes collaboration, visual literacy, and personal connections to art. The workshop includes a classroom component and experience using the technique in the galleries. Session includes one hour for lunch on your own. Participants will receive five clock hours for attending.
