Guest Speaker: LJ Rader: Art But Make It Sports

Join LJ Rader, founder of the social media accounts (and now book) Art But Make It Sports, for a special afternoon examining the intersection between art and sports. Rader will touch on several aspects of his work, including his ties to Minneapolis and the local sports community, why Mia’s collection lends itself so well to the ethos of his account, and what his work can teach us about approaching art and art history.

After the talk, Rader will sign copies of his book, Art But Make It Sports, available for purchase in The Store at Mia.

Before the program, Rader will offer a special tour that highlights pieces from Mia’s collection featured on Art But Make It Sports and more. You won’t want to miss this unique experience!

Tickets for the talk and tour available April 17. Both events are free, but separate registration is required.
