Art in Bloom Preview Party

Please join the Friends of the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) in celebrating the 38th annual Art in Bloom by attending the Preview Party on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 5:30 to 9pm.

Ticket sales are now closed. 

There is much reason to celebrate, as this year’s exciting event coincides with the Friends’ 100th anniversary of supporting Mia. Together, we’ll toast the spring season and the return of in-person celebration with a glittering diamond-anniversary theme, surrounded by stunning floral interpretations of Mia’s art, live music, and entertainment.

Event details

5:30pm Check-in, Lower Lobby, Third Street Entrance

5:30–7pm Pre-dinner Reception sponsored by Artful Living, The Galleria, and Bachman’s, featuring exciting live entertainment produced by the talented Grant Whittaker, sparkling wine, a signature cocktail/mocktail, cash bar, and hors d’oeuvres in the General Mills Lobby.

7–9pm Dinner. At 7pm, guests will be ushered up to the Jade Corridor to gather for a seated dinner among the flower-filled galleries of Mia’s stunning art collection.

Pricing

All tickets include two drink tickets for your choice of signature cocktail, mocktail, or sparkling wine during the pre-dinner reception, seated dinner with wine, including gluten-free and vegetarian options, catered by Deco. Tickets will be held at the Preview Party welcome table. A portion of each ticket is tax-deductible.

Valet parking will be available at the Third Avenue entrance, $20 (cash only).

Patron Levels: Patrons receive valet parking and program mention.
