Artist Talk: Willie Cole

Contemporary American sculptor, printmaker, and conceptual artist Willie Cole will discuss how he mixes visual metaphors and subliminal memory triggers in his work to address issues ranging from the African diaspora to the environment to personal family history, as revealed in his most recent collaboration with Highpoint Editions.

Generously supported by the Mark and Mary Goff Fiterman Lecture Fund.

“The Contemporary Print: 20 Years at Highpoint Editions” is on view at Mia October 9, 2021-January 9, 2022. Learn more about the exhibition here.
