Dance Workshop: DANCEFLOOR DANCEFLOOR with Scott Stafford

DANCEFLOOR DANCEFLOOR is a guided dancefloor movement practice focused on moving the physical body to engage and release in the energetic body – informed by qigong, 5Rhythms Technique, and the magic of club spaces. After a gentle warm up, we’ll ride a curated sonic landscape to encourage release, reconnection, and some dancefloor magic. All bodies are welcome – no experience necessary.

This is a FREE, in-person event that will take place in Mia’s Reception Hall on the Third Floor of the museum. Please wear something you feel comfortable moving in. In alignment with the CDC guidance and with the lifting of the State of Minnesota and City of Minneapolis mask mandates, Mia will no longer require vaccinated visitors and staff to wear masks inside the museum. However, following CDC guidance, we strongly recommend face masks for visitors and staff who are not fully vaccinated. If you are planning to visit the museum galleries, please reserve your ticket in advance at artsmia.org/tickets or call 612-870-3000.
