Special Exhibition Lahza 2
This Family Day, inspired by global traditions around tea, reminds us that there are so many things that connect us to our fellow humans around the world. On view this weekend only, “Lahza 2,” Arabic for “moment” or “glimpse,” is a project that features photos taken by Syrian children ages 7–12 in more than 200 informal settlements throughout Lebanon. In an effort inspired to both empower and overcome the trauma of war, the children took the images using disposable cameras made available by UNICEF and the organization ZAKIRA (“memory” in Arabic).
