Film Screening: Aparajito

We are pleased to present, Aparajito, the second part of Satyajit Ray’s Apu Trilogy, where we see Apu and his family leaving their rural home for the city as he grows into adolescence. This brilliant coming-of-age film is, along with the other films of the trilogy, considered a masterpiece.

This film is part of the 45th Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival (MSPIFF45). India Association of Minnesota (IAM), Indian Cultural Association of Minnesota (ICAM), Khazana Arts & Textiles, and Mia are partnering with MSP Film Society, presenter of the annual Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival (MSPIFF). MSPIFF is the largest and longest-running film festival in our region and annually presents more than 250 new international and independent films to a broad community of movie lovers.
