Free Open Studio: Yarn Art

Join local artist Anna Johnson in Mia’s studios for a day of yarn art. Inspired by Mia’s exhibition “Without Boundaries: Fiber Sculptures and Paintings by Women,” this drop-in activity will feature yarn, fabric, and other textile scraps as your creative tools.

Anna Johnson is a local artist and educator who creates music, puppetry, film, and theatre. She has over ten years of experience leading art classes and workshops for youth through the Minneapolis Institute of Art, Minneapolis Parks and Rec, and the Walker Art Center. She holds a BA in Studio Art from Macalester College.
