Friends Lecture: The End of Luxury?

Robin Givhan is a long-time fashion critic with the Washington Post and now a senior critic-at-large covering politics, race, and the arts.

Along with contributing to several books, Robin has written for Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Essence, The Daily Beast, and The New Yorker.

Robin won a Pulitzer Prize in criticism in 2006 “for her witty, closely observed essays that transform fashion criticism into cultural criticism.” It was the first time the award was given to a fashion writer.
