Friends Lecture Series: Aaron Spangler and Amy Thielen

With generous support from the  Mark and Mary Goff Fiterman fund, the Friends of the Institute present artist Aaron Spangler and his wife, award-winning chef and author Amy Thielen in conversation. The power of place has influenced both their lifestyle and their work. While Thielen has explored the cultural influences and cuisine of the people that make their home in and around Park Rapids Minnesota, Spangler has been thinking of his art practice with a view of his place in the natural environment and his effect on the architecture of the wilderness.
