World-renowned art historian Alain Gruber will show us how the royals and grandees of the 17th through 19th centuries entertained. Gruber has spent his long, illustrious career studying and writing about priceless decorative arts through his work at the Swiss National Museum, the Rothschild’s Collections at Waddesdon manor near London, the Abegg-Foundation museum and Christie’s.  Prepare to be charmed by Gruber’s tales and awed by beautiful objects from the Age of Opulence.
