A Legacy of Angels

Angels hold a special place in our minds, hearts, and imaginations. Celebrate the beautiful angels created by Friends members in 1997 for the Friends’ 75th anniversary. Find the perfect angel to reflect your imagination, commemorate its creator, or give to a special person. These historic needlepoint angels will be available for purchase during the reception.

Tom Rassieur, the John E. Andrus III Curator of Prints and Drawings, will explore the many ways angels are depicted throughout Mia’s extensive art collection. A gifted curator and speaker, Tom will highlight specific pieces of art and the angels depicted therein.

Come enjoy wine and appetizers in the company of fellow art enthusiasts. This event is open to the public, and we encourage you to dress in festive attire. Contact the Friends Office at 612-870-3045 with any questions.
