Friends of the Institute Book Club

The Friends of the Institute Book Club meets twice each month, on the third Friday and Saturday of the month in the Friends office. The gathering begins at 10 a.m. with a discussion of the book of the month, led by a member of the book club committee, and followed at 11 a.m. with a one-hour tour of the museum’s collection, inspired by the book and led by a museum guide. Advance registration is required and can be made by emailing the Friends Office or by calling 612-870-3045.

Please note that Saturday meetings will only take place if a minimum of five participants have confirmed their reservation by the Monday before the meeting. If we don’t reach this required number of attendees, we’ll cancel the Saturday meeting. We’ll send email notifications about cancellations only to those who have submitted a formal RSVP to the Friends office.
