Celebrate Style: A Collaborative Evening with Friends of the Institute and Goldstein Museum of Design

Join the Friends of the Institute and the Goldstein Museum of Design to recognize 52 years of Friends fashion shows, which historically was in collaboration with Dayton’s Department Stores. Guests will enjoy cocktails and hor d’oeuvres while Twin Cities’ own Connie Evingson performs. Couture from the Goldstein’s permanent collection will be on display, and guests will also have the opportunity to view the exhibition Plastic Rapt: A History of Designing Forever.

Jazz vocalist Connie Evingson has toured worldwide, and appeared in memorable performances alongside Wynton Marasles and Mickael Feinstein at Jazz at Lincoln Center. She has performed locally on A Prairie Home Companion, collaborated with the Minnesota Orchestra, and has a standing invitation with the renowned Dakota Jazz Club.
