“I Am Somali” – Panel Discussion

Presenters: Ifrah Mansour, Aziz Osman, and Hassan Nor; moderated and interpreted by Cawo Abdi and Ahmed Yusuf.

Held in conjunction with the “I Am Somali, Three Visual Artists from the Twin Cities” exhibition in Gallery 255, three Somali-American artists will converse about issues they take to heart, for example, art-making in Somali society, knowledge of traditional Somalia across generations, and being an immigrant in the United States.
