Get jazzed about the masterful modern artist Henri Matisse.

In the gallery:

• See and feel the rhythm of Matisse’s art as you visit “Matisse: Masterworks from the Baltimore Museum of Art.”
• Learn how Matisse broke the rules of art in his time.
• Riff on Matisse as you sketch from his works in the museum’s permanent collection.

In the studio:

• Improvisation, syncopation, innovation…learn jazz basics and apply them to your art-making.
• Make art inspired by music and listen to music inspired by art.
• Share your creative expressions with your most adoring fans during a final class reception.

This 2-session class meets on April 5 and April 12.
