Kitchen Dance Film Premiere
Join us for the premiere of Kitchen Dance, a conceptual short dance film that explores the multi-dimensional lives of women and their work through modern movement.
Kitchen dance was inspired by Mia’s Frankfurt Kitchen period room, on view in Gallery 378. This project was made possible by the Minnesota Arts Board Artists Initiative Grant.
A screening of the film will be followed by a Q&A with director Maribeth Romslo, choreographer Zoé Emilie Henrot of Ballet Co. Laboratory, Kitchen Dance set designer Tom Burgess, and Mia’s Head of Exhibition Planning and Strategy Jennifer Komar Olivarez.
