This fall and spring, get cozy in Mia’s Pillsbury Auditorium for free film screenings. Films are shown on the last Saturday of the month at 2 p.m. Free tickets required.

October 26 Midnight in Paris (2011)
Before heading to Mia’s Midnight in Paris party on October 31, brush up on its namesake film. In this romantic comedy, a young man visiting Paris with his fiancée has an experience there that will change their lives. It’s about the magic and romance of Paris, and the illusion that the “golden age” of art and literature is forever in the past.

November 30 Killers of the Flower Moon (2023)
In the 1920s, innocent members of the Osage tribe are victims of a series of unusual, inexplicable murders. Though Native Americans are relegated to the margins of society, the case captures the attention of the FBI, which launches a large-scale investigation under the guidance of its young, new leader, J. Edgar Hoover.

December 28 The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)
The Grand Budapest Hotel recounts the adventures of Gustave H., a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune—all set against the backdrop of a suddenly and dramatically changing continent.

January 25 Ink & Linda (2022)
Start your new year with the inspiring story of an unlikely friendship. This documentary feature centers on the unexpected collaboration of two artists from different disciplines and generations. Inksap is a first-generation Vietnamese American in his twenties who channels his pain and history in his street art, while Linda is a stateswoman in her seventies who is accomplished in the realm of modern dance. Together, they run around Los Angeles, putting their art in buildings while evading the authorities’ prying eyes.

April 26 Minari (2020)
Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month a little early with Minari. A Korean American family moves to an Arkansas farm in search of their own American dream.
