MIA offers free screening of The Royal Tenenbaums

Surprise, happy #BDayMIA!
In honor of <a href="http://new.artsmia.org/exhibition/the-habsburgs/" target="_blank">The Habsburgs: Rarely Seen Masterpieces from Europe’s Greatest Dynasty</a>, the MIA invites you to get to know a similarly quirky, though not technically “royal,” family with a free screening of Wes Anderson’s cult classic <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0265666/" target="_blank">The Royal Tenenbaums</a> on Friday, April 10. (Bonus, the film features a score by Mark Mothersbaugh, the musician and visual artist whose work will be on view at the MIA this summer in a <a href="http://new.artsmia.org/exhibition/mark-mothersbaugh-myopia/" target="_blank">unique retrospective</a>.)
Doors to the auditorium will open at 6 pm and the screening will begin at 6:30 pm. Arrive early to enjoy Wes Anderson movie trivia hosted by <a href="http://triviamafia.com/" target="_blank">Trivia Mafia</a> and, of course, popcorn!  Feel free to sport your favorite track suit, tennis outfit or polo dress in honor of your favorite Tenenbaum.
