On the Edge: A WCCO Original
On the Edge is a documentary about the people and polar bears facing an unprecedented future because of a warming Arctic. Erin Hassanzadeh (WCCO) traveled with photojournalists Tom Aviles (WCCO) and Jose Sanchez (CBS News) to Churchill, Manitoba—the polar bear capital of the world—to see how people in the community are fighting to protect their way of life in the face of climate change. The trip also revealed how the experience of this small town on the edge of the Arctic is a warning for us all.
