Puppet Studio

Artists age 7-9 get a chance to test out the role of both Artist and Actor in this special collaboration between Minneapolis Institute of Art and Children’s Theater Company. Spend the mornings in the studio creating the perfect puppet.  In the afternoon, join Children’s Theatre Company to learn the foundational elements of puppet technique that bring the inanimate to life.  From the basics of how to hold your puppet to the challenge of crafting character voice and the subtle movements that express realistic emotion.  Tuition includes materials at Minneapolis Institute of Art.
