Shigeru Ban: Works and Humanitarian Activities

Shigeru_Ban_20110702A recipient of the esteemed Pritzker Architecture Prize, Japanese architect Shigeru Ban is known for his innovative designs targeting humanitarian efforts throughout the world. His designs make use of existing materials allied with his minimalist ideology. Traditional Japanese architecture remains an integral part of his inspiration.
