Sing the Museum

This event is one in a series of pop-up happenings at the MIA produced by participants of <a href="http://www.artsjournal.com/speaker/2014/07/announcing-hothouse-exploring-new-ideas-in-co-working-with-the-minneapolis-institute-of-arts/" target="_blank">HotHouse at MIA</a>.
<a href="https://www.facebook.com/WhatsUpPopUp" target="_blank">What&#8217;s Up Pop Up</a> and MPR present &#8220;Sing the Museum,&#8221; a singing gallery tour with <a href="http://minnesota.publicradio.org/about/people/mpr_people_display.php?aut_id=31296" target="_blank">Tesfa Wondemagegnehu</a>, MPR&#8217;s director of choral initiatives.
Tesfa has selected five artworks and paired each with a song that resonates with that particular work of art. Enjoy a tour of the selected artworks with MIA docent Kay Miller, and let Tesfa lead you in a participatory sing-along of the selected songs in each gallery.
