Art always reflects its time and the feminist movement is no exception. Its influence is felt in the arts and culture. The feminist movement in art also helped bring about an appreciation for a number women artists from history. We will look at some of these historic as well as contemporary artists, locate them in their time, and discuss the content of their work.
