Join Associate Professor of History at the University of California, Riverside Molly McGarry for a talk about Spiritualism’s origins and relationship to feminism, civil rights and other social movements. This talk will coincide with the anniversary of the birth of Spiritualism, which began with reports of sisters Maggie and Kate Fox communicating with a spirit in Hydesville, New York 1848.
