The Art of Power/The Power of Art featuring Lyndel King

Lyndel King has led the University of Minnesota’s Weisman Art Museum for more than 30 years and has guided it through the design and construction of its current building, a shimmering landmark by architect Frank Gehry. She has served on the boards of the American Association of Museums, the Association of Art Museum Directors, and the International Council of Museums-US and serves as co-chair of a task force for the protection of university museum collections. King has been a reviewer for the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Institute for Museum and Library Services.
