About CODA Creative Aging Classes
As we age, our capacity for creativity increases but often goes untapped. In this series of classes designed for adults aged 55+, we’ll engage with a variety of art forms to discover our personal capabilities while forming meaningful connections with other participants.
About this class
Given the constraints of maintaining social distance, many families have been unable to visit one another in person. This class is designed to help create connections across distance through art! CODA (age 55+) students are encouraged to sign up (virtually) with their grandchildren. This class is geared towards children 5-8, but can be modified for younger or older ages. Participants will spend some time looking at art together virtually, and then make several projects, connecting artwork to family memories and stories, designed to be mailed to loved ones.
Registration information
$50 per family (grandparent and one household of grandchildren); $25 per additional household. The cost of the class includes a kit of art-making materials mailed to each participating household. Call 612.870.6323 or click here to register online. Registration for this class opens on November 9.
