Vitality Arts: Collage: Painting with Paper
Give discarded magazines new life as you turn them into works of art! We’ll explore the medium of collage with a painterly approach. Local artist Hannah Frick will lead with demos of materials and methods, and will share tips and tricks along the way as you create your own unique collages. In class we’ll cover color exploration and palette building. You’ll make art inspired by pieces in Mia’s collection and create a portrait of your own furry friend (or any special image of your choosing). The majority of our time will consist of studio work time but will also include opportunities for group critique and feedback, as well as individual instruction.
