Exclusive Preview

This year’s Gala and Summer Party will offer a special viewing of a masterpiece by Marc Chagall—Double portrait au verre de vin (Double portrait with a glass of wine)—depicting the artist and his wife on their wedding day. Considered one of the most lyrical representations of wedded bliss put to canvas, this work will be on loan exclusively to Mia from the Centre Pompidou, Paris, through July 29, 2017.

Generous support for this exhibition is provided by the Douglas and Wendy Dayton Foundation.

Proceeds benefit the mission of Mia: to enrich the community by collecting, preserving, and making accessible outstanding works of art from the world’s diverse cultures.
