The Job
To perform administrative support services for the Security and Janitorial departments.
In this role, you will…
- Performs administrative duties for the Security and Janitorial departments.
- Attend and take minutes for All Staff Meetings.
- Distribute mail, order and inventory supplies.
- Take badge photos and print badges for staff, volunteers, trustees, interns and contractors.
- Update and maintain staff and vendor phone lists.
- Performs word processing and other Security and Janitorial duties as assigned.
Specific Requirements
- Minimum of two years related work experience.
- Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, 60 wpm keyboarding speed, ability and experience in converting paper-based systems to electronic systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated and excellent numerical aptitude and accuracy, able to professionally manage confidential information.
- Effective communication skills with both internal and external contacts; ability to work effectively amid frequent interruptions.
- Experience in a security-related field, preferably in a museum or cultural property.
