Bus Transportation Grants

Let the Friends of the Institute help transport your students to the Minneapolis Institute of Art to explore a world of art. The Friends of the Institute Transportation Fund is proud to make bus grants available to Metro-area K-12 schools for the 2023-2024 school year.
 
Grants of $250 per bus, with a maximum of two buses per school, are intended to defray transportation costs so students can visit Mia and participate in guide-led tours. A variety of hour-long tours highlighting Mia’s permanent collection can be scheduled Tuesday through Friday.
 
Bus transportation grants will be awarded based on need. Grants will be paid directly to your school or program after your tour is taken. Guide-led tours covered by bus grants must occur between January 15, 2024 and May 15, 2024.
 
Grant applications are now closed. We encourage you to apply for the 2024-2025 school year in the fall.
