FAQs
Q: What should I bring?
We recommend a front-facing carrier for infants, and comfortable clothing for you and your child. You are welcome to bring a stroller, and snacks or drinks, but we ask that you do not consume snacks or drinks during our time in the galleries. Bags, parcels, and backpacks larger than 15 x 15 inches are not allowed in the museum.
Q: Do you have family bathrooms?
Yes. Our first-floor Family Center has an all-gender family bathroom with an accessible nursing room and changing table. We have accessible bathrooms on the second and third floors as well.
Q: Do I need to register beforehand?
Yes. Advance registration is required, and space is limited.
Q: What if I need to cancel?
We understand that plans can change fast with little ones. If you need to cancel, please call us at 888-642-2787, or email visit@artsmia.org. We also ask that you stay home if you or your child is sick.
