At-Home Art Kits, Ages 8-11

Mia is offering a variety of Summer Art Kits to help families engage with Mia’s collection and create art during the museum’s closure. Designed by our qualified art instructors, Summer Art Kits contain all the materials and instructions students will need to experience Mia’s studio classrooms, mailed to your home! Students will learn about masterpieces in Mia’s collection, work on basic art skills, explore self-expression through at-home activities, and receive virtual creative support from teaching artists.

Each kit includes:

  • Essential art materials as well as select supplies unique to each camp
  • Art activities appropriately designed for the age and theme of your camp
  • A schedule for “office hours” during which you can contact your camp instructor for activity support via video chat.

You may purchase a Summer Art Kit to replace your camp that has been cancelled due to COVID-19, and you’re invited to “Pay it Forward” by purchasing a kit for one of our community partners.

To request a refund of your camp registration fee, please contact tickets@artsmia.org by Wednesday, June 17. If we do not hear from you, your camp registration fee will be generously welcomed as a contribution to the museum, and we will provide a receipt for tax purposes.
