We have developed guides for teachers and their students, and other adult learners, to help you look closely at and think deeply about six artworks featured in the special exhibition, “When Home Won’t Let You Stay: Art and Migration.”

Both guides promote critical thinking about migration, immigration, and the displacement of people today, as well as contemporary artists’ responses to these global issues. Each entry features a short narrative and a set of questions.
