Mia and Penumbra Theatre invite you for a thought-provoking conversation exploring race and representation through the lens of art.

After attending The White Card at Penumbra, visit Mia for a reflective follow-up conversation and a viewing of “Mapping Black Identities” in the museum’s contemporary galleries.

The White Card runs through March 1 at Penumbra Theatre. This acclaimed play by poet Claudia Rankine examines the topic of Black artists represented in white spaces, raising questions and what, or who, is actually on display. Visit penumbratheatre.org for more information.

The conversation at Mia is free; advance registration is recommended. Please click here to rsvp.
